ABU DHABI –December 1, 2010 – Today, two of the most exciting powerboat drivers in the World, Thani Al Qamzi and Ahmad Al Hameli close friends and teammates of team Abu Dhabi will host an autograph and photot session inside the main entrance of the Marina Mall from 17:30 to 18:30 local time.

Adding to the excitement will be FM Emirates Radio covering the event live as thousands of people are expected to attend getting a chance to meet their local Abu Dhabi hero's personally.

The elder Team Abu Dhabi driver Thani, has five career victories to his credit and finished last season runner-up in the championship and this season is in the top five in the fight for a World Title. He has two podium third place finishes in his eight previous starts at his home race along the corniche.

Ahmed, a winner at this year's opening race in Portimao, Portugal has finished second twice in the Grand Prix of Abu Dhabi back in 2008 and 2009. He has two career victories and like Thani is hoping for his first career victory at his home event.

The 19th Grand Prix of Abu Dhabi will take place on the third and fourth of December, this Saturday will be the race final with a chance for race fans to win over 50,000 AED in prizes and a chance to win a luxury automobile as well at the Corniche Breakwater in Abu Dhabi.
