SECOND WIN COMPLETES PERFECT F-4S TROPHY DEBUT FOR NYHOLM
F4-S

ABU DHABI (UAE) - Friday, 11 December, 2015 - Anton Nyholm rounded off a perfect F-4S Trophy debut taking overall honours with a second win in two days in Abu Dhabi.

Team Abu Dhabi duo, Mohamed Al Mehairbi and Rashed Al Qamzi produced the best scrap and entertainment of the race, tripping over each other on lap one then trading places as they fought to get back to the front runners, the inter-team dice eventually taking its toll on Al Qamzi.

Team Sweden's new boy Nyholm got the better of pole-sitter Al Mehairbi and Al Qamzi off the pontoon to lead into the first two corners.

Behind him the Abu Dhabi duo tangled with each other at turn two, Al Mehairbi hooking into his teammates path and dropping to eighth, Al Qamzi to sixth, handing places to Mansoor Al Mansoori, his race ending on lap 6, Ferdinand Zandbergen, championship leader Mike Szymura and Joakim Halvorsen, who would eventual y finish in fifth.

With Nyholm off in the distance the Abu Dhabi pair started their fight back through the pack, Al Mehairbi passing Al Qamzi on lap 8 to move up into fourth spot Al Qamzi crashing out a lap later trying to get the place back, and bringing out the yellow flag.

Nyholm held his nerve at the restart to maintain the lead, Al Mehairbi jumped Szymura and on lap 15 of 18 was up into second place, but was unable to close down Nyholm, following him across the finish line to take second ahead of Mad Croc Racing's Zandbergen with Szymura fourth.

Despite a poor weekend by his standards, Szymura will head to Sharjah for the final race of the year 36 points in front of Joakim Halvorsen and with just 40 points on offer a third consecutive championship title looks to be his.
