F-4S - PALFREYMAN RETURNS TO WINNING WAY
F1H2O

KIEV, Ukraine - July 21st - Although Sweden's Jesper Forss led from the dock, it was only a matter of minutes before Team Atlantic's Matt Palfreyman took over the lead and stayed there until the chequered flag, despite Forss closing the gap to a second at the finish.

However all eyes were on the battle for 4th and 5th places between Mad Croc's Kornel VO and Team China's Ziwei Xiong. Although Ziwei's boat is slower he tried every route to pass VO there was not enough time to claw his way to secure 4th spot. In yesterday race Nautica's Tobias Munthe-Kass was attacking every turn mark eventually stopping briefly when his kill switch fell out. Today Tobias drove faultlessly and was happy with 3rd place.

Qatar's Khalid Al Kuwari was struggling in 6th place but when the two leaders approached him, it seemed the Arabic discovered a second wind and he started to pull away from Palfreyman and Forss despite being almost a lap behind.

We asked Team China's manager Eric Chan when he thinks Ziwei will be ready for F1 and he said they were going to give him the opportunity to test a boat at the next race in Liuzhou.
