Friday, 29 November: Germany's Mike Szymura will head to Sharjah for the final two races of the season as the newly crowned 2013 F-4S Trophy Champion, lifting the title in his first season.
Two measured drives this weekend by the Team Atlantic driver, finishing second to the young Italian Alberto Comparato on Thursday and third in race 2 today, behind race winner Nikita Lijcs and the overall Grand Prix winner Niklas Friberg, puts Syzmura out of reach of his rivals with a 49-point lead. "This weekend was all about points and not wins," said the young German. "There was no need to push, just keep out of trouble and get the points. Now I can go the final event and race for the wins."
The 20 year-old from Berlin has been the most consistent of the field finishing on the podiums steps at all events, winning twice, finishing second five times and picking up to two thirds, lifting Grand Prix titles in Kyiv, Liuzhou and Doha.
