ABU DHABI, UAE - Saturday, 8 August: Team Abu Dhabi driver Alex Carella is adamant that he has nothing to answer for concerning the exit of Sami Selio at the last race in Porto. "What happened in Porto I think is just a racing accident," he said. "I am certainly not playing dirty especially on Sami that is one of the driver's I respect more."
"We are there for the win. We are all driving to the limit. I make a close pass to him but for sure was not my intention to make him crash.
"I am one of the driver's that made less crash than nobody else and I think it's a bit too much to speak about 'playing dirty'."
Carella's third place in Portugal, his first podium for Team Abu Dhabi, puts him into the top six in the Championship standings on 19 points, tied with Filip Roms, and 17 points shy of leader Shaun Torrente.
Round four of the Championship the Grand Prix of China takes place in Liuzhou on 1-2 October, a venue that Carella has excelled at winning there for the last three years, Sami Selio winning once in 2009.
