Friday, 13 March, DOHA (Qatar): Strong winds and choppy seas were once again a thorn in the side of UIM Race Director Luis Ribeiro, forcing the cancellation of the first race of the year in F-4S.

The eight drivers from seven countries were limited to a 20 minute practice session this morning, with Qatar's Mohammed Al Obaidly topping the time sheets with 1:21.78 ahead of China's Wu Bingchen.

Elisa Leidi posted the third quickest time before her dramatic exit, defending Champion Mike Szymura fourth quickest.
