Abu Dhabi – Saturday, December 4, 2010 - It surprised a lot of F-4S fans when Atlantic team's Stefan Hagin won the second heat of the Abu Dhabi but few realise, Hagin is the 2009 World F4 champion.

However it was Team Rainbow's Oskar Samuelsson who has won the F-4S Trophy with two races to spare despite finishing 3rd in today's race with Mad Croc's Filip Roms filling the runner-up berth. Under a blistering sun, the ten strong fleet set off with Hagin jumping into the lead and despite their best efforts, Roms and Samuelsson, the young German pilot crossed the finish line after 22 laps holding a 40 metre lead over Roms.

The excitement was happening behind the leading duo as China's Xiong Ziwei held onto 4th place despite a hard challenge from Team Azerbaijan Bimba Sjoholm and Qatar's Saleh Al Shamlan. In their eagerness to keep on the pace, Team 800 Doctor's David Del Pin and Tobias Munthe-Kaas of Team Singha made mistakes on the pit turn which allowed Matt Palfreyman to fill 7th place while Rashed Al Tayer dropped out with mechanical problems.

Once again, Molgaard hulls dominated filling 1st and 2nd places while Ziwei was driving a Molgaard hull moulded in China and Sjoholm was behind the wheel of an older, heavier Molgaard.
