F-4S BIMBA'S ERROR COST HER POINTS. PALFREYMAN WON!
F1H2O
8th December - Abu Dhabi - In the first of two races in Abu Dhabi, Team Sweden's Bimba Sjoholm lost the chance of extending her lead in the 2011 Trophy F4S championship by hooking on a turn buoy while challenging Team Atlantic's British pilot Matt Palfreyman.
"I tried to avoid hitting the buoy as that costs money, so I continued and hoped I would not lose too many points". Palfreyman went on to win the 22 lap race with Team Mad Croc's filip Roms finishing runner-up ahead of China's Xiong Ziwei, Qatar's Khalid Al Shamlin and Sjoholm collected 7 points for her 5th place.
With the second Abu Dhabi race tomorrow ahead of the F1 GP and two more races in Sharjah, the championship could be decided on the last race of 2011.
