ENZENHOFER'S CRASH RULES HIM OUT OF WEEKEND
F1H2O

EVIAN (France) - Saturday, 27 June - It was a frustrating first practice for the Motorglass F1 Team, with Bernd Enzenhofer crashing out ending his weekend's prospects and Francesco Cantando struggling with engine issues.

But for team returnee Bartek Marszalek it was a solid outing in his new DAC.

Enzenhofer: There were some long waves in front of the turn and I was trimmed down too much and the nose stuck in. Up until then it was okay, I felt quite good but then a small mistake by me. It's very disappointing.

Cantando FrancescoCantando: I had problems from the start with the engine so we will change it so in qualifying we start all over again.

Bernd was unlucky. He is still gaining experience and was caught in the middle of two waves. The damage is not huge but unfortunately there is a crack in the middle of the fuel tank and is the one thing we cannot repair here. You can see that fuel is leaking out, so his weekend is finished.

Bartek MarszalekMarszalek: The boat is fantastic. I still have to get used to it, learn it, but great potential. Main difference is in the handling, it is a little wider and very quick out of the turn. We take it step-by-step. I pushed a little on my last lap but then saw some rollers and when Bernd got caught out we decided to call it a day. For sure I will push more in qualifying.
