CARELLA CROWNED KING OF CHINA

LIUZHOU, China - Wednesday, October 2, 2013 - Qatar's world champion Alex Carella led throughout this exciting GP of China. However Qatar was robbed of a unique 1-2 when their number two pilot Shaun Torrente stopped briefly with an electrical fault while lying in second place.

Torrente's exit allowed Sami Selio of Mad Croc fame to move into the runner-up berth ahead of Team China's Philippe Chiappe. The race was incident free apart from one yellow flag on lap one when Chinese Ziwei Xiong engine expired.

The temperature was in the high 80's when the seventeen drivers started in front of a huge enthusiastic crowd on the 250th Formula 1 anniversary race.
