AL FAHIM CRUISES HOME FOR VICTORY IN F4

Saturday, 18 May, PORTIMAO (Portugal): Victory Team’s Ahmed Al Fahim proved the class act and continued his dominance winning the first of this weekend’s F4 races with ease.

 

Starting from pole, Al Fahim held off an initial challenge from Blaze Performance driver Max Stiltz in the opening laps, then breaking free and going to complete the 20 laps and run out a comfortable winner by 10.87s.

 

Stilz followed the Victory driver to take the chequered flag unchallenged in second, with CTIC F1 Shenzhen driver Wu Bingchen winning the race long battle for third place, holding off the attentions of Team Amaravati’s Pedro Fortuna.

 

Mohammed Al Remeithi was the better of the two Abu Dhabi drivers in fifth, 16-year-old Harvey Smith rounding off the top six.

 

Al Fahim rounded of his day going quickest in the time triaals that followed and will start race 2 from pole.
