PROFILE

STEFAN ARAND made his racing debut in the UIM F1H20 World Championship in 2024 after finishing third overall behind Rashed Al-Qemzi and Edgaras Riabko in his debut season with a DAC running under the Stefan Arand Racing banner in the 2023 UIM F2 World Championship. He was also voted ‘Rookie of the Year’.
His F1H2O debut on Lake Toba netted fourth place but a pair of retirements followed in Vietnam and Sardinia. He finished fifth in difficult racing conditions in Shanghai but didn’t start the Zhengzhou race and was absent in Sharjah. He did pick up 34.5 points and finished 10th in the Drivers’ Championship, those points helping Team Vietnam win the Teams’ Championship. For 2025, he has moved to the Sharjah Team to run alongside Rusty Wyatt.
The Estonian’s dream is to become F1H2O World Champion after earning the UIM F4 World and European Championship titles in 2022. Arand began racing in 2012 and was GT15 World and European Champion in 2014 and 2015. He went on to become the UIM Junior driver of the year in 2016, 2017 and 2018 and continued his winning ways with world GT15 and GT30 titles in 2017 and 2018.
After taking part in the GT30 category in 2019 and clinching yet another European Championship, he also became Offshore 3J World Champion the same year and then won the UIM F4 European series in 2021. He has already won seven World and nine European Championship titles in Junior and Senior disciplines and was awarded the 2023 Driver of the Year at the Estonian Powerboating Union Awards’ Ceremony.
