PROFILE

SHAUN TORRENTE is one of the most dynamic and committed drivers on the tour and in 2018 fulfilled his lifelong ambition to win the world title, retaining it the following year and again for a third time in 2022. He finished runner-up in the title race in 2013 and 2016 and was third overall three times.
After three terms with the Qatar Team from 2011 to 2014 he joined the Victory Team at the Grand Prix of France in 2015, moving to Team Abu Dhabi at the end of 2017. From 65 starts, he has won 11 times with 30 podium finishes, qualifying in pole position 11 times.
Shaun’s real success came with Team Abu Dhabi but the Florida racer has returned to the Victory Team for the start of 2025 after missing a season of racing in 2024.
His racing career began in the USA when he was 15, going on to be an SST- 120 (F2) world champion twice in 2002 and 2003, then moving up and winning the North American F1 Championship three times.
