BARTEK MARSZALEK began his 12th year of F1H2O racing with a spectacular first ever pole position and race win on Lake Toba in Indonesia at the start of 2023. He went on to finish that season in sixth place, adding points for ninth to his year’s tally in Sharjah.
In 2024, the Pole finished fifth in the Drivers’ Championship, as he had done in 2019. He began his campaign with fifth in Indonesia and Vietnam and secured a podium finish in Olbia. Two DNFs in Shanghai and Sharjah proved costly to his push for a top three season-end finish, although he did finish fourth in Zhengzhou.
During a career that now spans 61 race starts and five career podium finishes, the Warsaw driver will be looking to improve on his two fifth-place finishes.
Bartek comes from a family with a strong on-water pedigree and started racing in 2005 in the Formula 250 class. He went on to win the Polish Championship. The following season he moved up to the Formula 350 class and was second in the World Championship. He has also taken part in World Endurance races.
