Tuesday, 4 March: Team Qatar's triple World Champion Alex Carella headed up a cast of Champions at the fifth annual UIM Prize Giving Gala at the prestigious Salle des Etoiles in Monaco on the weekend.

The Italian ace received his trophy from UIM President Dr. Raffaele Chiulli, H2O Racing Marketing Director Raimondo di San Germano and was joined on stage by his close friend and radioman, Alex Canzi.

Carella and Team Qatar kick-start their title defence at their home Grand Prix on 14-15 March, with Carella setting out on his campaign to try to emulate his childhood hero Guido Cappellini by winning four consecutive World crowns.
