ABU DHABI Friday, September 6, 2013 - One of the most talented, professional drivers in all the world of racing, Marit Stromoy of Norway, got her feet wet this past weekend entertaining national and local media along with long lines of VIP's with her new newly finished F1 2-Seat demonstration raceboat at a national race meeting in Drammen, Norway.

The lead pilot for the Nautica Team, who is a six year veteran on the UIM F1 H2O World Championship tour and who just recently received her new boat arriving from Italy, can now offer invited guests and press a rare glimpse into the rarefied air of the true speeds generated on water from one of the world's most challenging series .

"We had a wonderful weekend here in Drammen," said Marit. "This is why we had this boat built in the first place, to demonstrate to the people, not only in my home country of Norway but to all of Scandinavia, what a thrill and the challenge it takes to drive in this series."

"Our exposure was fantastic."

"All avenues of the media, from standard print, websites along with television network exposure came out and took part. We must have taken more than 70 individuals around our circuit demonstrating what these boats are truly capable of. Believe me, the wide eyed looks on most faces when we returned to the pontoon were priceless. Everyone, I guarantee, will remember their experience this past weekend on the water."

"Now, nearly all in Norway knows I have this promotional vehicle capable of offering the true thrills of the sport of F1 H2O on water which is really special."

For Marit, she is gearing up to make the long journey to the third round of the 2013 UIM F1 H2O World Championship in Liuzhou, China for the 19th Grand Prix of China on the first and second of October.

She is hoping to continue her streak of back to back races scoring points this season after finishing 10th in both Brasilia, Brazil and Kyiv, Ukraine earlier this summer.

The 36 year-old driver, who is also a professional singer who entertains to large audiences throughout Scandinavia, is known for being the first woman to ever earn a pole position in a international racing event when she earned the number one starting spot at the Grand Prix of Portugal in Portimao back in May of 2011.

Marit's best result, thus far in her career, are a pair of fifth place finishes in Liuzhou, China and Sharjah, U.A.E. During the 2009 campaign.

She'll be making her 47th career start in China while celebrating the series 250th race ever held in its four decade history dating back to 1981.
