ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates – Friday, October 16, 2009 – The city of Shenzhen, China, home to this weekend's pair of Grand Prix races of the U.I.M. F1 H2O World Championship for power boating, will see more dignitaries and promoters arriving from various countries with the announcement today the scheduled arrival of Mexican Promoter Gerardo Huerta expected to attend the 17th and 18th of October races for the 11th Grand Prix of China.

F1 H2O series. “With Gerardo arriving it shows that people around the world including North American's are looking to alternatives for worldwide coverage of this exciting water sport. The U.I.M. F1 H2O World Championship is a 29 year-old series that includes drivers from four different continents racing around the globe encompassing eight time zones while entertaining fans with their sleek four meter catamarans accelerating to speeds of 220 kph and turning over six times their body weight in corners making them the fastest turning race vehicles in the world.
This weekend's 11th Grand Prix of China marks the ninth and 10th races of the 2009 campaign with Sweden's Jonas Andersson of Team Azerbaijan leading the championship with three race victories in eight starts this season.
