PERFECT TIMING AS F1H2O AND BRM PARTNER IN THE WORLD POWERBOAT CHAMPIONSHIP

Idea Marketing is pleased to announce a timely new commercial partnership with the prestigious French watch manufacturer BRM.

Idea Marketing and the luxury French watch brand BRM (Bernard Richards Manufacture) have signed a three-year agreement starting in 2016, with BRM appointed the Official Timekeeper of the UIM F1H2O World Championship, the world's foremost single-seater powerboat series.

As part of a two-tiered agreement BRM will also become title sponsor of the Pole Position Championship. "We are delighted to have signed this exciting partnership with BRM and to introduce them into the highly competitive world of powerboat racing," said Idea Marketing director Raimondo di San Germano. "There is a perfect synergy between the outstanding ranges of bespoke timepieces that BRM manufacture and our sport where precision, attention to detail and timing are all vital."

Motorsport and the racing spirit are very much at the heart of the BRM brand and reflects Bernard Richards's passion, the founder of the company launched in 2003 and based in the Vexin area in France. "Custom made watches and motorsport complement each other perfectly well. The excellence in the detail, precision engineering, mechanical sophistication and high-tech materials are all essential to both activities", said Bernard Richards. "For 11 years BRM has been active at the highest level in many categories of motorsport, in jet ski racing and in motorbike and car racing and we are very excited by our new association we venture into the top-flight of powerboating racing."
