Tuesday, 13 September: The organiser of next month’s F1H2O and Aquabike Grands Prix, taking place in Liuzhou, China, has launched the back-to-back events at a press conference in Beijing.
A week of spectacular racing kicks-off with round five of the UIM F1H2O Powerboat Championship on 1-2 October, where a quintet of racers, Thani Al Qamzi and Ahmed Al Hameli - the winner last time out in Kyiv - Philippe Chiappe, defending World Champion Sami Selio and Francesco Cantando will be looking to try to close the gap on the inform, Team Qatar pairing of Jay Price and Alex Carella who hold first and second slots in the overall standings.
This will be followed two days later with the final round of the UIM-ABP Aquabike World Championships on 4-5 October where the titles in all categories will be fought out, with French riders Francois Medori, Jeremy Poret, Julie Bulteau and Romain Stampers looking to complete a clean sweep by lifting all four crowns.
