Thursday, 26 August, Gillman Racing has announced that Sweden’s Erik Stark will team up alongside recent signing Alec Weckstrom for the opening round of F1H2O World Championship Season 2021: the Grand Prix of Europe which will take place in San Nazaro, Italy on 10-12 September.

“I am very sorry that Greg Foster will not be able to be in Italy for the Grand Prix of Europe and I can confirm that Erik Stark will join the team for the first race of the season-   said Scott Gillman - Erik will bring with him so much experience that can only help us and I am really glad to have him on board again with us as he is a “very easy to manage driver”.

“I can wait to be back racing – said the 33 years old from Taoby - and I am very happy to race with Scott and the team. Scott, as a 4 times F1H2O World Champion, is a very experienced driver and I have so much to learn from him.

I have been preparing for this moment since Sharjah 2019. I’ve been training a lot and I feel in a very strong shape and I’ll be fighting hard to bring the win home of course!”.
