FOUR STROKE JOIN F1 NEXT YEAR
F1H2O
ABU DHABI – Friday, June 24, 2011 – Next year (2012) will mark a break through in the UIM World F1 Series when the two boat Caudwell Racing team enter the fray with their 3.6 litre four stroke engines.
We saw the first of these engines undergoing tests in Sharjah at the end of 2010 and although the exhaust note was impressive. South African based Caudwell Marine have been working hard on their own designed sterndrive to make it reliable and competitive.
Caudwell Marine have yet to decide which boat they will choose but its clear the craft will have to be specifically designed to take the new engine and transmission.
